Tim specializes in body work, paint work, frame repair, detailing, insurance work, brakes and suspension, tire and battery fail, rust repair, custom work, salvage car repair, old car restoration, tires, and interstate batteries.

Tim has an AAS degree from Des Moines Area Community College where he was sponsored by a GM dealership to take part in the highly selective BSEP program. During his time at DMACC, he won many awards including the GM Good Wrench Leadership Award –
awarded to one member in the course. He earned a spot on the DMACC Presidents list for maintaining a 4.0.

He is certified in Automotive Service Excellence, Refrigerant, Recovery and Recycling. He specializes in body and paint work. He is also a certified auto-body refinish technician with Sherwin Williams.

During college and after he worked at Wright Chevrolet in Carlisle for four years where he did body work, frame work, and paint work. He worked on used cars, and did insurance work, and maintenance work as needed. Then he moved to Devore motors in Knoxville where he worked for five years where he worked as the primary painter. He would also help on auto body repair when needed. He then went to Langstraat Auto Body in Pella where he worked for 12 years where he was the primary painter. He also did auto body work when needed.

Tiffany Daggett

Autobody Technician
Tiffany, Tim’s daughter, works closely with him on body work, sanding, buffing, disassembly, reassembly, brakes, suspension and paint work. She also does light mechanical work.

She has studied auto-body at DMACC and has two years of full time experience.

She is passionate about working closely with her father to uphold their family business. She prides herself on honesty and hard work.
